  It is as if time has stopped. Beautiful and of great historical value. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Staff is very helpfull and they enjoy their job which is very important. High class. two dumbs up ! - I was there for a family wedding and everything about the hotel, location and staff was abslutely fantastic. would thooughly recommend it

You felt as if you was at home. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and made it feel very welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Whether it was an extra slice of toast, a late night drink or calling us a cab, every request was met with a smile.

  We stayed one night - made very welcome - had a lovely walk round the lovely village and then a great swim in the pool - there was only us in the pool - what a treat.Excellent situation to get into london - in fact we were in central London all parked up and ready to go by 8 am - having left the hotel at 6.45 - (thus cant comment on the breakfast... what people say » !0 - Staff were extra friendly and helpful (not to mention beautiful, Jade)!! Food was really nice. Breakfast was lovely, not greasy at all. Bed was super comfy, had a great nights sleep. Pool was nice enough, and the steam room was nice to relax in.

The hosts were very friendly and could not have done more, would highly recommend a stay here to a charmless hotel - Adequate room, warm, cosy and very clean - plenty of hot water! Breakfast was ample. Location to airport was good. Onsite parking. Airport drop-off/pick-up.

  The rooms were very good, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The owner and staff are very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items. My stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend The Stansted Inn to anyone seeking a quiet and friendly place to act as a base from which to explore the surrounding countryside... what people say » . - I can only say that we found every thing to our total satisfaction and far better value and helpfulness above more well known hotels both in bishop Stratford and many others around the country. The manager Raj is very helpful and polite. He carried my luggage all the way to second floor and also available to help you even after midnight. The accommodation is above a showroom replete with Morgans from the delights of the 30's 3 wheeler through many Plus 4s, right up to the modern (!) Aero and the reincarnation of said 3 wheeler. Must have been very well project-managed!! Breakfast is an innovative affair - Melvin and sindy have created an amazing bed and breakfast . Each room is luxuriously designed with so much emphasis on detail . The warm and friendly atmosphere only enhances what is already a lovely stay . The museum is gorgeous. Decorated and displayed in a very ' classy' way. We loved our stay , the kitchen is wonderful . It has the home from home atmosphere.   After experiencing various of the airport hotels close to Stansted, a stay at Lancaster's (on the basis of the reviews here) came as a delightful surprise. Don't be put off by the slightly naff pic; 'Rosy Lea' is the tea-room downstairs. The B&B has a separate entrance round the side. Loved the room; characterful, tasteful, quirky and t - It's quirky and charming. The room was lovely and crucially, not horribly over-heated. As the owners don't live on site there is food for breakfast left in a little fridge - so no need to watch the clock. For a cooked breakfast or brunch you can visit the Tea Rooms downstairs (I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - really good).The people I met were friendly and helpful.

  Kevin and Pauler made us feel very welcome.. We stayed in the house rather than an annexe and this was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was really good and exceptional value at only £2.50 each. The local pub was very friendly and served good food at a reasonable price. I would recommend this B&B for anyone who needs to stay in this area.... what people say » - Really clean, modern, well appointed and comfortable room. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The £2.50 full english breakfast upgrade has to be the best deal in town and the quality is first class. Even taking the cheap price out of the equation, this is the place to stay in the local area.
