  Excellent value for money. Room was small and basic but also clean and comfortable exactly what we needed. Restraunt and bar facilities have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Full Scottish breakfast served with tea or coffee was excellent and a massive portion.   As we only stayed 1 night en route to the far North we don't feel we could make a valid judgement but we did enjoy our stay and the friendly welcome we got along with a hearty breakfast.   * staff were friendly * comfortable bed * nice hot shower *breakfast in bar area which is lovely as has lots of F1 memorabilia * close to main area for castle, shops etc - We loved our stay! Steve was so friendly and the rooms were so cozy and warm. It was an excellent location to se the lake area and walk around in the country park!
