Excellent location and food in restaurant excellant,but rooms 7-9 are on the main road side and quite noisy. however we thought it was value for money and adequate room facilities and would definitely stay there again , we loved the lounge area!. Room was clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant offered plenty of choice and great value for money. Food was very good. Continental breakfast was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and provided great service.

The B&B is very warm and welcoming and so is the bar/restaurant below. Our family room was large with enough space to move around even with 2 kids. Traditional inn decor and style, good value dining and accommodation in a beautiful spot. Perfect gateway to the Highlands and Loch Lomond. On several occasions on our trip we found difficulty in locating the hotels we booked. We travelled by hire car on a few occasions and used Sat-nav. This usually requires an address including a street name and number - this Inn was one which did not provide the number of the property. So the suggestion is - please provide full street addresses with your booking information. No reception. Continental breakfast was included in the price but wasn't very continental without cheese or meats. Definitely a healthy breakfast but not continental in style!. A very uncomfortable bed.Room needed some redecoration due to water damage. Not much. Failed to log in to WiFi, for reasons never discovered. The cooked Scottish breakfast for 6.99 was very poor, only had it once then went elsewhere. nothing. Smokers too close to hotel doorway, unpleasant for non smoking guests to enter hotel. nothing!. Our room was to cold we had to move sofa fr. nothing. -. Nothing. No lift. The most uncomfortable mattress in our life!!! You could feel the springs and it all collapsed into the middle!. Broken tap & no soap & goodies. the heating was off in the room, it was put on by your staff, it went off, a very uncomfortable stay, scottish breakfast very poor, not worth the money. The bed was obviously put in when the hotel was built many, many years ago and probably now needs to be replaced!!. Breakfeast upgrade not worth the extra money. food cold. On arrival at 2.30pm, we were told our room wouldn't be ready until 4pm. Check in was 3pm. Went to bar & ordered lunch. Mine arrived stone cold. Complained & the same plate was returned to the table minutes later, microwaved. The half eaten roast potato was still on the plate. Not impressed at all as the meals weren't exactly cheap. Bed wasn't a double, it was a three quater one so not at comfortable.
