Shower was fab Kitchen facilities very useful View (from Ben Fogle suite) was brill Big bed Proximity to shops/pubs etc 25% discount on riverside Italian Restaurant with key fob (found out about this from staff on arrival) Nice walk in area Brill pubs/restaurants (specially The Peacock and La Mistral). Room was a great size and the facilities were excellent. I only stayed 1 night as was attending a local conference so didnt get time to fully appreciate the room but will most certainly return. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel/lodge.

Offered excellent recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. Sleep Lodge was an absolute gem!. The room was nicely decorated and modern. I thought the kitchenette in the room gave you more flexibility. The large bed was very comfortable. The close proximity to the centre of Bakewell, was ideal. The bed and quiet surroundings assured a good nights sleep. The accommodation was private and secure. I would definitely stay again. The location was excellent in the heart of Bakewell with easy access to local restaurants. Hotel doesn't have 24 hour staffing; the did inform me of this in an email a week before arriving, but it might've caused a problem as my cell phone died on the way to the hotel. We had a slight problem working the tv but the staff were really helpful and came straight away. 1 Lack of directions for finding the lodge. The parking was very tricky as the car parks were small, although the staff were very helpful at finding us a space each day. beds were hard. Nothing. Bathroom was cold due to window not shutting and shower door didn't close completely so water leaked out if shower was not directed away from door. We could not get the TV to work,even after following instructions. A man came in to help and managed to get it working.After switching off and on again in evening it reverted back to no picture,so did without as nobody on duty to help again. It seemed to be a general fault with the TV. Needs addressing!. Nothing. Cooking facilities were not good. Walls are too thin, particularly if your neighbour falls asleep with TV on, not good. Huge willow tree blocking the view. Kitchen facilties, poor workspace, 3 cups. Sitting room a bit poey and dark because of tree. heating was fixed so we couldn't turn it down so had to keep windows open. bathroom floor caving in because of wet floor cos shower is difficult to direct to stay in bath.
