  We got upgraded which was very nice. The hotel had a good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Restaurant attatched did good food and service was with a smile. - Very reasonable price and good service!!! Very confortable!!!

  Location is great right in the centre of town. We did not realise a light breakfast was included of cereals fruit toast etc and it was all we needed. Should we have wanted something cooked the butchers is just across the road and we had a cooker in room. Everything is immaculate and of high quality. We didn't really need to light the stove bu... what people say » t did just because we really miss the real fire we had taken out years ago. We are regular visitors to Alston and would highly recommend Town View.

  Pub with accommodation and food suited us perfectly, meaning we could park up, have a meal and drink without any worries of drinking and driving. Good food, good beer, friendly Landlord and a good breakfast to send us on our way> what's not to like? - Second time i have stayed there, Ken the landlord is such a nice bloke and makes you feel wel... what people say » come and his staff. Always have a good laugh with the locals at the bar. Great cooked breakfast. Excellent place.
