Dont judge the hotel from the outside which looks tired and dated once inside you are in for a pleasant suprise. The foyer and reception area are bright and modern and the staff pleasant and helpfull. Our rooms were spotless and well equipped. All in all a great hotel and excellent value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the restaurant
next to the hotel was good, although on the second day they seemed
unable to cope with the amount of people there, most things had been
depleted and were only replenished after asking for it. -

A gem of a place run by a lovely couple who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful four poster room with sea view. The house is very well kept and well proportioned so you're not disturbed by the noise of other guests. Fantastic location overlooking the beach and with lovely grounds. Although

This place was perfect! The beds were delightfully soft, the pillows
fluffy, the bathroom sunny and roomy. The breakfast was delicious. The
garden was wonderful and the path to the beach couldn't be better.
The staff were excellent as well, the lady there gave us a tip to go to
the Nairn Caeligh the evening we stayed there. We ended up winning a
bottle of sherry and were out danced by 80 year old women. This hotel
was a splurge for us and I wish we could have spent our entire trip
there, it was

Much better than the last time we visited the premier in Bathgate last
year, (october) where we did not get a good nights sleep, or our money
back even after making complaints about the party next to us and across
the landing from our room. -

I was traveling with my 5 years daughter, but when I booked the bed on

book for my daughter. The staff arranged a private room for us which was
very thoughtful and nice. There was another elder couple, they booked

We did not stay long, but the staff person there was extremely helpful. We arrived at 1 in the morning, and were easily able to get into our room. He also accommodated our need for an early breakfast the following morning, and he gave us a map with walking directions to the train station. Our room was spartan, as all youth hostel rooms are, but it was clean and comfortable. And the price, 22 pounds per person per night, could not be beat.
