Dont judge the hotel from the outside which looks tired and dated once inside you are in for a pleasant suprise. The foyer and reception area are bright and modern and the staff pleasant and helpfull. Our rooms were spotless and well equipped. All in all a great hotel and excellent value for money. This place was perfect! The beds were delightfully soft, the pillows
fluffy, the bathroom sunny and roomy. The breakfast was delicious. The
garden was wonderful and the path to the beach couldn't be better.
The staff were excellent as well, the lady there gave us a tip to go to
the Nairn Caeligh the evening we stayed there. We ended up winning a
bottle of sherry and were out danced by 80 year old women. This hotel
was a splurge for us and I wish we could have spent our entire trip
there, it was

Ross was an exceptional host. His nature/personality is perfect to be the Host of Royston.
His Home/Guest House is warm and inviting as he is what a wonderful time we had plenty of talking, laughter and good times.
Nothing was too much trouble and the cleaniness and décor was just like home.

The room was clean and well appointed with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. A nice lounge area for guests. Piping hot breakfast served at table and good choice on buffet.Two establishments close by for evening meals. The owner was friendly and offered local advice. I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

A reasonably priced hotel for a short stay when visiting Inverness. A short stroll into the centre via the castle meant this hotel was good value for money. Our room was small and had a disappointing view of a wall. But it was clean and equipped with the essentials. -
