Everything was clean, the staff friendly. The location for us was great as it was near all the attractions we wanted to visit. Breakfast is brought to your room, (you have to book it) and it was lovely. Definately worth a stay. The staff were amazing! the room was excellent and clean. Even the bedding smelt lovely! Breakfast was plentyful and on time. I would love to go back to this hotel and i was actually disapointed to be leaving.all reviews »
The quite location high standard friendly staff and I can take my dogs the only hotel in the ares. Breakfast was superb and delivered to the room at exactly the time requested.Every thing is good about this place. Beautiful setting - option to hire the private swimming pool all tomyself ! Wow. Staff very friendly. The room is very nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpful even we go to the hotel late. Very nice hotel; great rooms and helpful service.Service, WLAN for free. Pretty surroundings, good service. the bed was clean and the breakfast was ok. Walls a bit thin - heating a bit noisy. The noisy bathroom fan took about twenty minutes to turn off. It was impossible to sleep with it going like a freight train. no german TV. We felt as a room for the disabled, there was a little too much furntinure, eg tables, in the room to enable me to move around in my wheelchair and access the bathroom, which, once I was in there proved excellant, although I could have used a handle on the wall beside the shelf to steady myself. A suggestion is to wall mount the television. Walls too thin, noise form next room.The room was smaller then I expected. The walls were very thin, butfortunately, the other tenenats were quiet. Freeview TV had a very poor signal on many of the channels. I suppose that's a plus as it meant I didn't waste time watching TV!. Lack of Cooked breakfast, however was pleasantly surprised how good the continental breakfast was. A slightly later checkout time on the weekend would be better, say half 10. Rooms a little tired and cold. Had to move rooms to get wifi access. shower had tendancy to flood bathroom floor. No breakfast choice for BandB therefore maybe alittle expensive for 1 person. no wardrobe for clothing. not enough space for longer stay. staff not as good as previous vist, Pool needs cleaning. The hotel is at the end of a long (1 mile) unlit track and although not far from the centre of Abingdon, it can only be accessed by car.the tv didnt work, no resturant or bar.

- Turn left onto Stratton Way and pass the 1st set of traffic lights.
- Continue up to the 2nd set of traffic lights, but please notice that the road will widen to go left or right.
- Approach the traffic lights in the right-hand lane.
- After the traffic lights turn right into Stert Street.
- Once in Stert Street you pass 2 pedestrian crossings and the church clock tower on the left.
- Continue straight on the A415 over the Abingdon bridge and pass the Nags Head pub on the left.
