  It is a very good example of a basic quality. Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me. The location is unbelivable and the view is amazing worth everything. It is also very close to everything. Staffs are very helpful and dedicated. The breakfast line is nice. On - The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace. It is also easily accessible by public transportation. The staff are also attentive to your need

  A lot of thanks to staff!!! a lot, a lot!!! You helped me so much! I really recommend this hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the city. Cheap price for a single tourist. No noise. People write they wake up because of prayers in the early mornings. I slept and heard nothing (I closed the window)! Reception 24 hours (I arrive at 6.30am and... what people say » could have a bath and breakfast). Good Internet. But you need to know it is really simple rooms!!! - I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.

  The Antique hostel is located in the middle of old city Sultanahmet among great number of other small private hotels and hostels, but Antique offers a peacefull neighboroughood for good night sleep after spending whole day wondering around Istanbul. Nothing broken, no bug - I came across this beautiful hostel through accommodation reservation site.having stayed at this hoster for a week I can confirm in my capacity as a hotel manager myself in the united kingdom this hostel is run efficienly by mr.helmey and members of staff are so friendly,offering their services and assistance all the time! Well done everyone at the antique hostel.no doubt I would like to go back to wonderful istanbul with that hoster as my favorite place to stay at.

  This is a large appartment on the 3rd floor split into various rooms. Larger rooms are mainly equipped with domitory beds while the smaller ones have double beds. The location is excellent, very close to all main sites and the t1 tram line. The rooms are clean. The brekfast is very good. Tea is for free and Mr. Ali (the owner) will make everything... what people say » he can to make you feel comfortable at his place. PS: It was NOT difficult to find. Mr. Ali sent me a map prior to arrival. There is a large sign nex - Fun, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, yummy breakfast, clean and good showers. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

  Great location by the port, very clean. Major advantage they have a tour organiser Hassle Free inside the hostel which I used for a day trip to Gallipoli which I really enjoyed. - The location is good, in the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The showers and toilets were clean enough and pretty standard for a hostel.

  I ilked the personal touch. When I first wrote them they got envolved in the reason of my trip, and I immediatly felt they were friends. When I arrived late at night they were wonderful and welcomed me with a cup of hot tea. The breakfast is awesome, and they served it a little earlier because I had a tight schedule in Istanbul. The internet is great, the location perfect and they arranged for my airport pick up an - We normally don't stay in dorms, but our experience was great. The staff were accomodating and friendly. Dorms were clean and spacious with big windows, comfortable beds, and lockers. The building is old, but charming and appeared to be well-maintained. Location is convenient and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of Galata. Water cooler and brewed coffee at breakfast was a welcome bonus. A strong reccommend.

  This was my 5th trip to Istanbul, a place I consider home. I am glad I finally found a hostel that is not only in a perfect location (Taksim is by far my favourite area in Istanbul), but was exceptionally clean, looked after and of the best quality, almost comparative to a hotel. The staff were great, and the facilities and extras - Overall excellent value/price. Staff is extremely friendly and happy to help. Service is thought out into bits, from delicious breakfast to Istanbul maps and hostel summary booklet provided when checking- in. Rooms are clean and have low noise from outside when door closed. Location is perfect to access neighboring Istiklal avenue and other destinations are at walkable distance. There is also proximity of public transport, such as metro and busses. I wish there were #bunk hostels in other Europ
