I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and I have found the staff friendly and mostly english speaking and the rooms in the new wing excellent and those in the old wing OK and good if you choose a room with a balcony. The new wing is superior and all have balconies with a view of the sea of Marmara. it is well placed for my client's plant and for the ferry terminal nearby.
Wifi is free. Shuttle services from the hotel to various locations are good and mostly free of charge.

i stayed in this hotel recently in june 13. stay at this nice hotel with an excellent location was really great. facilities at hotel including the rooms, large swimming pool, spa etc were all nice and well maintained. breakfast was very nice with quite a large variety of menu. places around the hotel that is kumburgaz is also very interesting to walk around with a friendly neighbourhood. access to main istanbul is very easy and takes around an hour or so. staff was too helpful specially eilf. i
