Amazing staff, they gave us many nice surprises during our stay, delivered more than was needed or expected. Location and the views were great (ocean view), great gym, delicious breakfast, small treats in the executive lounge and in the lobby, efficient bell boys and valet parking. Funny detail in the bathroom: a rubber duck! In short, we liked everything. Everything. I upgraded my room with some fair charge and in return had a sea view room with some additional privileges. (Executive club) In the 11th floor there is a very nice restaurant with magneficient view, plus some free snacks+drinks for customers who stays in executive room. Location was perfect, also personnel was quite kind and helpful.
all reviews » Very comfortable - We were in Izmir during terrible weather and were very grateful that the hotel was so comfortable, as we were pretty much locked inside! As we stayed in the executive suite, we had access to a special executive room at the top with great views and lovely snacks all day long. Breakfast was also lovely!. We could see the square and sea view from the room. The staff were so nice and upgraded our room to honeymoon suite with complementary chocolate and sparkling wine.. This hotel really knows how to pamper their guests. very good service for kids - they supplied a very nice bed with shampoo, slippers, bath robe, wet wipes, toys - a daughter loved the hotel very good lounge service, clean rooms and good breakfast. Location is excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful especially with young children. It is a great hotel to stay at for a city trip. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. The hotel is well located, staff very friendly,excellent fitness centre and swimming pool.Lovely free gift of home made chocolates, and fresh fruit on our departure. Housekeeping very slow, our room wasn't cleaned until late afternoon, one day we had to ask for it to be cleaned as it was so late, however this was promptly attended to. Nothing. Nothing so far..... Even the inside of the toilet/bathroom was visible from the Post Office building on the opposite side of the road if you didn't pull the window blinds. The famous Turkish bakalava - one kind at a time, maybe -should be added to the break-fast buffet. none. nothing. Nothing really Just I took honeymoon package but they didn't proper for it ,,. The swimming pool is in door. too few toiletries. nothing. No Chinese TV Channel available. Pool was not functioning and this was not stated in the advert. I sent an email to senem to ask for at least 50% discount to compensate but had no reply. I hope you investigate this further. carpet is old in the rooms. Breakfast is not valuable. Wifi connection in room was very very bad. For the first time, the room was smelly. i found the front desk staff a little snooty and aloof. I stayed in the Executive Room and was there for 4 nights but no turndown service for my room until the last day! The F&B Managers in the Coffee House were also not very friendly maybe due to lack of english. Will not stay in this hotel again. According to price I was expecting more luxury suits. Sea View in very few rooms. Dirty clothes collection is very slow! The ladies could not come to the room to get them on time, only thing I could do was to send them in the evening, but hotel told me you could not get them back until tomorrow! I complainted to hotel reception guy, he said you should delivery them earily....how can I say? Yes I did, but it was your ladies did not come to my room on time!!!!. car parking is problem. Movenpick given all its facility and service, choice of food in bfast was not very good. Bfast needs some focus.
