  Gultekin is a nice little place. The staff are very casual and nice, though they don't speak English very well, they know enough to be helpful. The shower was great, nice and hot with tons of water pressure. Breakfast was really good, a nice and pretty large buffet on the terrace with views over Goreme. The hotel is right in the middle of Goreme, which is convenient to the restaurants and shopping along the main street - staff is super friendly. Since I was arrive in the early morning they offer me the breakfast before even checkin. then offer the room for me to sleep before my room was ready. They did have barbecue party almost everyday which is amazing and help to get to know people in the same hotel. Location was great, sit right at the middle of city and almost the highest spot, so you can see 360 agree from the terrace.

  Breakfast was quite rich, buffet-style and typical. The hotel had a private parking space and the view from our room was great: we had a large terrace in front of our stone accommodation and we could see Goreme and its Fairy Chimneys (at sunset that spot was wonderful). We required medication stored in a fridge - no problem happy to oblige ( not everywhere likes this) The pension offers traditional basic accommodation , turkish breakfast and its perfect for a few days stay. The staff were relaxed, warm, generous and very friendly people , they helped us a lot to get known the local area, atractions, customs and traditions, the rooms were unforgetable (where else you can sleep in the cave but in Capadoccia?), the cave was cool,clean and comforting,the bed was comfortable,... what people say » all apliances were working.   Everything is nice. Even the size of the hotel is more fit to lodge, this place has wonderful interior and atmosphere of capadokia. You will never regret it. Very cozy and morning meal is also very neat. Especially the owner of the hotel is very kind to customers and he know how to deal it. Tough I miss the chance to book the balloon tour from here but someone after coming here please don't forgot to book here. It's - Both Serdar and his father were welcoming & excellent hosts and provided service beyond normal expectations. As our stay was in the low season, Serdar had decided to close Arch Palace and we were actually accomodated in his other hotel, Caravanserai, located very close by. This was absolutely no problem and did not affect the location or price. We would have no hesitation in recommending either of Serdar's hotels as excellent places to stay in Cappodocia, or Goreme in particular.

  The great thing about this quaint little hotel is the people (and pet animal) working there. The owner, Orhan was very helpful but also a little bit cheeky (the good way!!). His assistant, Furkhan was very welcoming and polite. He prepared us very good omelette for breakfast every morning and always offered us drinks whenever we were at the common... what people say » area. We really enjoyed his company and appreciate his willingness to teach us Turkish while - Oran, the owner and Soner, the every-day manager treated us like family. This place is well located just off the Main Street and is very quiet. It is easy to find and everyone in Goreme knows where it is. It has a very pretty terrace for eating breakfasts. The food is typically Turkish and always fresh and tasty. The cave rooms are fun and worth a try. Orhan booked our excursions - Green Tour, balloon ride, Whirling diverse show and they all turned out really well.

  Had a nice stay at the Sunset Cave Hotel. Hassan and Chetin were very accommodating and they really showed Cappadocia hospitality. We found people in Cappadocia were very sincere and went out of their way to help us. We joined the green tour through the hotel and it was worth it as we got to see many of the sites we wouldn't have ourselves. As for... what people say » the rooms, it was an experience to stay in the caves. Only thing is we didn't know you can view the rooms beforehand and secure the room you want as - Manager is truly excellent, very helpful. Room was pretty good, was disappointed at first I could not get a hot shower before our 430am balloon ride but then I realised the hot water was solar powered so I am completely okay with that. Excellent view from top balcony, close to town and sunset point. Can't praise the manager enough, he was great value...other staff sepaka not so gooda ingrish do Loved it though, would recommend it any day. On a side note, make sure you organise a shuttle bus fro
