all reviews » Our stay at the Elysee Hotel was exceptional. The hotel manager Deniz is a phenomenal host who took care of absolutely every detail for us; car rental, hot air ballooning, horse back riding, restaurant reservation etc. The hotel owner and his wife were also most gracious, welcoming and great hosts. Our stay at the Elysee Hotel was the highlight of our Turkey trip. We have travelled extensively and have never been treated as well as at this hotel. The hotel itself is immaculate and the rooms are. Everything from the location, the staff to the hotel! I booked the hotel based on recommendations from this website and trip advisor, and I had no regrets booking it. The hotel arranged a shuttle to pickup and immediately on our arrival, the hotel manager (Dennis) was there to greet us! He has been our guiding light through this whole trip...giving us suggestions on what to do and also helping us arrange car rental, balloon rides, etc. Breakfast was great...made even better with the incredib. We were given the honeymoon suite, the only room with access to a private balcony with a view of the town and the valleys in the background which we took advantage of. The whole staff is very friendly and Deniz does a fabulous job in making sure you have a worry free stay and co-ordinates any tours you might be interested in. Breakfast was included with an assortment of local goods to choose from, i.e. feta or olives and dry fruit. Situated close to the town centre but just far enough that y. Amazing. Deniz the manager is incredible and was so accommodating and helpful and a great connection for us and our family. The cave house was picturesque and just like the photos. A stunning place to stay in an amazing location. Like being in a Mediterranean village. Great food, great accommodation, neat staff and the highlight of our long holiday. Goreme is the best place to stay. Can't speak highly enough. We would go back in a heartbeat. Our kids loved it (8, 11 and 13) and so did w. We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Deniz, the manager, was extremely helpful and pleasant. My wife and I celebrated our 50-year anniversary and my wife's birthday together with our two adult sons at the hotel. Deniz prepared a birthday cake and served a couple of bottles of good Turkish wine for the occasion, and everybody had a good time. The location is very good for visits to the old cave churches and other interesting sites. To start of there is nothing not to like about this establishment. The owner, Mr Cengiz was very very helpful and he bend backward to make my stay hassle free and enjoyable. He arranged my day tour, horse riding, my airport transfer and my balloon flight with discounts. The breakfast was great, I like the freshly baked bread and the view from the terrace was nice. I strongly recommend. we liked everything in this wonderful place (100%)...this will be always our place if we visit Goreme again. The owner and his wife are fantastic people...doing everything to let their Guests feel at home. The wife was backing the best cake...my kids adore it. Design, rooms, location of the hotel, friendly staff, beautiful view of Capadocia from the hotel. Even the hot air baloons may be watched if you can get up early. Hotel staff may provide you maps and info to plan your own trip, recommend good routes. We made bicycle trip and the hotel was a good choice for accomodation and planning. We loved our stay here. We were married couples and stayed in small room with traditional style, cool, small bathroom clean. Good breakfast with a good view of the landscape. We were 5 adult friends and we stayed in the family room. It was very spacious, cool, great bathroom and very clean. A nice private balcony too. Good breakfast. Staff help us prepare plan of visiting Kapadotia attractions. After review of econemic rooms (extremly small bathrooms) we decided to take family room. We were in mid of October, heating and hot wather were always available. Good breakfast, beautiful view from terrace. Very friendly stuff, and very helpful too. They offered me a free breakfast on the day I just checked in. After I checked out, I could drink tea and relax in the yard until the time for the bus. Their terrace has a beautiful view to the whole village. All of the thing (Staff, location, comfort...etc.) is perfect. :D They offered us a lot of useful information. and the hot-air ballon they recommended was wonderful!!!!! If I have chance to visit Cappadoica again, I will stay at this hotel again. The hotel is charming and Deniz and Gengis add to the atmosphere of the place ! Toilet area available to get wet when showering. Keep the roll of dry tissue outside when using the shower. Nothing !. We can't think about anything wrong ... we warmly recommand this hotel !.
