Hotel is close to the university so there are plenty of restaurants and many good pavement food places. We tried both and found that the pavement food was usually better than the restaurants. Breakfast in the hotel was buffet style and adequate. TV was good with many channels and some English speaking. -

Nice facilities at a super tranquil spot at the Mekong. Some people find the food pricey, but it's high quality and generous portions. The female owner of the hostel is very friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the area. Location of the hostel is excellent. We can taste local food and old ways of living in Ubon. My kids love the place. We will definitely come back to this hostel for our next trip. -
