The hotel's location is superb - it is in the middle of all the happenings, yet it has its own secluded compounds and is quiet in the midst of all the busyness and noise around it. It is very convenient for us to just walk a short distance to the Bangla Road or Patong Beach, and retreat to the serenity of the hotel within minutes. The service of the hotel tour operators in the hotel is superb. Everything is just perfect!. location was good...night market just 3 mins walk out from the hotel,8 mins to Junceylon...yet the resort was tuck in a quiet corner..you still get to enjoy serenity with bustling nightlife & shopping & street food within walking distance! staff was polite & food was great! there's a decent & clean massage centre just outside the resort & 2 money changers within afew mins walk!! the pool was clean too!. Location! Location! Location! If you want to experience the wild side of Patong with an easy 5 minute walk to Bangla road and 3 minute walk to the main Patong beach, while leaving all the hustle and bustle behind you as soon as you enter the resort's gates... this is the hotel for you! Lovely pool area! Also great that they close the pool at 7pm, especially if you have a poolside room. Staff was really helpful and positive in every manner. Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was good enough. Hotel was so close to Phuket attractions everywhere was in walking distance. If your priority is to stay at a hotel where you have easy access to city when you need and spend the daytime at tours for other locations of the island r-mar might be the perfect choice. We loved this hotel. The staff we so helpful and they helped us arrange all our transfers and change our dates at phi phi island, of which we then stayed another night at rmar. It was super close to night clubs, beach and everything u could want to do. I would recommend this resort for anyone. It was the best we have stayed at in 3 weeks by far. The location is really good.It's near shopping mall.The breakfast is combined with Chinese food and western food.And when we have breakfast I meet a handsome guy,fortunately we come arocss in Phang-Nga bay.But what a pity,I only stay in Phuket 2 days so that I have no time to make friend with him.It's really a unforgettable memory. This hotel is conveniently located, just 200m from Bangla Road, nice restaurants and other facilities like massage. The breakfast was good, different selection of hot foods each morning. Rooms cleaned daily, spacious and friendly/helpful staff. We opted for the free daily mini bar over the wifi. I would recommend staying here. The location was perfect, so near to the beach and shops and a lot of restaurants just behind the corner. And yet it was quiet and peaceful at the hotel. The sun was shining at the pool all day and the pool wasn´t crowded. The staff was very friendly. The air conditioning worked perfectly keeping the room cool. It's a clean resort and it's very relaxing around the pool. In the off season there are much fewer people and plenty of space, your not fighting for your deck chairs around the pool. A great stay and close to everything. Rooms were like 5 Star hotel and wooden floor. We enjoy sleep rooms comfort too much. Location was very near to beach and Bangla Road(Shopping Market). The breakfast was a bit non-exciting. The shower leaked terribly!!! (this was a problem experienced by more than one guest). And the walls are VERY thin, so prepare yourself for frustration if you have noisy neighbours. The bus ride from our tour was the noisiest bus ever. The reception staff is not very enthusiastic. The pool closed at 7pm!. It was a bit difficult to get out of the bath/shower and the floor got wet every time. The bed was too hard. The bath is an interesting design where all the water doesn't go down the plug hole, it pools along the outside edge of the bath and then onto the floor to a gully trap. Don't leave your clothes or anything on the bathroom floor if you want them dry!. Wifi range was not good. Disconnect many times , very hard to work continuously on Internet. Bathroom Shower area not good , it's wet all bath room when take a shower. After raining road outside the hotel dip in 2 feet water and very hard to enter in hotel or go out after heavy raining. Unfortunately the shower did sprawl a lot of water on to the bathroom floor which made it a little slippery. The bathroom was an awful design.If u use the shower,water is gonna leak out and it might causes any accident. I read some review about this and I thought it might not a big deal. But after I faced it,only I can say is "it's a big deal" I kindly a travelling person.but I 've never see such an awful bathroom design like this before in my life. The swimming pool is open only till 7 p.m. :(. That we had to leave. And also the patong bay vacation club on the streets of patong trying to scam you to join there vacation club don't be fooled. (nothing to do with R-Mar Resort). The wifi keep logging off. The building opposite the pool has no elevator, its only 3 floors, i guess not big deal for young people, but a problem for old people. Walking distance to Chabad length (15 minutes). Pool closes at 7pm. The front desk staffs are not as friendly as the other staffs. But they are OK. The shower and bathtub looks great but are not designed well, as the water will drip at the side and will get the floor wet. None. In the bathroom water goes away the bath. No good sound isolation if neighbours are noisy. Noise transference - other guests, door closing and my room was quite close to the cleaners storage room. Bath/shower had no run off trap which meant the water went onto the floor. My room did not have a good view. Most of the rooms at the back face some shacks. We were told we could have a late checkout and then they called our room at 11:40am and told us we either had to pay 300 baht or be out in 20 minutes...... Low season, so hotel quiet and not many people to get to know. The access to the beach was ok, but a bit tatty and the footpaths not good for elderly or anyone with a walking problem. Very noisey when people are having showers you can hear the water straight through the walls not good at 5.30am.doors need self closers on them as people slam them all the time and its so loud. May be management should consider introducing one restaurant at the hotel. There is no separate shower and bath tub. It was difficult to bathe in the tub, and the whole toilet becomes wet when taking a shower or bath. No Durain allowed ;). Bad bathroom design. It's always the water everywhere after shower. Far from beach, and no gym. We also needed to climb stairs to get to the room being on 1st floor. The Bathroom was a bit rundown, the shower leaked water everywhere and the lighting wasn't the best but we didn't mind. Breakfast is the same everyday. bathroom. well come drink was horriblr. Breakfast spread could be better! Water gets clogged in the wash basin and floor gets messy after shower!!!!. no lifts in the part we stayed in. Bathroom was not great, water would easily fall out the tub and make the entire bathroom wet. none. i miss the bread station in the breakfastroom. it was to small,its take a long time to wait for it and it was very slowly and many guest send the bread two three times, maybe its peanuts,but this was the onlyest thing who was badly. Shower-bathtub very poor design,hard to access and floods bathroom.
