The location is right on a beautiful beach, ideal for lounging on or strolling along to the various restaurants along the sands. The staff are extremely helpful, and very friendly. Briliiant accommodation, especially Hydro pool rooms, relaxing place to stay. Loved every minute of the stay, for the third year in a row, hoping to make it a fourth. We stayed in a beautiful room with a small private pool. It was clean, the service is good. Breakfast is OK only. Beach is good, although the area has better ones in terms of sand softness and water depth.

It would be nice to have later breakfast timings. 10a.m. close is a bit early when on holidays and the look-out bar sometimes closed early so no possibility of a stargazing nightcap. Hot tub in the room was old and poor quality compared to other hotels we've used The spirit drinks! Are definitely watered down, it is an expensive bar, so don't order stick to the beer in the bottles, Should have a free shuttle bus to the airport, I ended up haggling with a taxi driver outside paid 400 baht hotel wanted to charge me 600. Rooms quirky and mostly rather dark. Ours had the wash basin in the bedroom opposite the bed with a small adjoining room for the shower and a separate room for the wc. Felt more like a bathroom than a bedroom. Food very expensive but many better value options nearby. As we spent something like £1500 in total with the hotel it is irritating to be charged £2 for a broken soap dish -wrong message I feel . starting to get a bit old. could need a bit of touch-up everywhere. Some sunlounges in pool area rotting and falling apart Rooms very dark Spa plug leaked, in our kids room no plug This hotel was one of five we stayed in on a trip of Thai islands. It was the most expensive (we got a last minute deal thank goodness) and the most unappealing. We have stayed in Koh Samui before for much less. Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Shop around!!. The pool went cloudy & couldn't b used for the last 3 days. Maintenance is not good. But no discount on room rate even though u pay for a room with a pool that can't b used.
