Absolutely fabulous hotel! The setting is on a river rather than directly on the beach, this is reached by taking a kayak or being ferried on the hotel boat. The rooms are light, modern and spacious and the plunge pools was a god-send on a hot day. Breakfast is served down by the river which is really scenic. Almost everything was perfect: - the meal, great breakfast with thai and western food - the kayak to go to the beach - the firefly, such a romantic moment - the hotel takes place in a great scenery - the shuttle bus is comfortable.

Good place if you want a nice resort and don't want to see anything of the island. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Nice view with private Jacuzzi and fun trip with kayak around the canal to the beach. I like everything about Anna Resort, the food the staff and the accomidation i.e. the villa with plunge pool. We were to Aana for 3days ,staff were good and all facilities,good values for money. The garden, kayaking, hilltop swimming pool. Very nice a quiet place. Plunge pool , kayak, see flyfire,river view. We liked everything. Overal resort look was great, two deceant swimming pools and the kayaks to the private beach were a nice touch. The buffet style breakfast had a some good choices. A plunge pool in room Nice room. liked the friendly staff and the location : very quiet. Most of the staff were kind Oddly, the few staff which were able to speak english were rude, impolite and need to improve their attitude towards customers. Staff were very nice but a bit clueless, very poor selection of vegetarian options in the restaurant (pizza or spring rolls) which is very disappointing in a hotel of this price which caters to Western visitors, often there were no towels at the pools, staff were absent from poolside bars and seemed to resent being contacted to bring cold drinks or extra towels. Private beach is not that nice to swim and I've got a food poison after dinner there. Nothing i was impressed overall. The beach is a little bit dirty sometimes. WiFi is a very expensive. Breakfast. The resaurant was a little pricey, and the staff hardly spoke any english.other than that its a good hotel/resort. Lot of ants in room (everywhere :bed bathroom balcony dressing table especially on the welcome fruit plate). staff very poorly trained (regarding english language and general hotel services) at rooftop bar no staff to be found very limited food choice -one restaurant only- beach furniture run down.
