Beautiful hotel for a relaxing holiday. However in the evenings arranged a disco. As it is situated away from the road, then have dinner in the hotel. The food is beautiful and good, but expensive. The beach is sandy and in the tide will have to walk long enough to deep water. In the morning and after lunch from the hotel there are transfer service to the white beach. all reviews » this resort is very nice and luxurious. Nice environment as well, has its own private beach. Most staff are nice and friendly. Breakfast contains a lot of fresh fruits. Provide shuttle bus to the main road. prepared our room in a very sweet way as I required because of our anniversary (towel swan, flowers in the bathtub, "happy honeymoon(even though it's not,;p)" spelt by leaves, and so on. Fantastic ressort. Extremly kind and helpful staff. The food at the restaurant was delicious. All together a wonderful stay at Panviman, We would definitely come back to this resort if we are Comming to Koh chang again. I Will give my Best roccomandations to this place its wonderful. Tip: Rent a scooter its Cheap and a god Way to see the Island. excellent, we stayed for 8 days and enjoyed all aspects of the hotel, the pools were beautiful and the gardens well maintained, all staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend to others and would stay here again for certain,. Best beach on Koh Chang, Beach is very clean. I have been on Koh Change for 5 years and their beach is the best. White pure sand clean beach no rock shallow water. Good for children. Staff very friendly, super rooms, bathrooms were fantastic very relaxing place good shuttle service options. Panviman (Thai for paradise) is indeed paradise alike. Really quiet from the busy mainroad, free shuttle or rental motor cycle available. Their new V-spa at the mainroad is much better and cheaper(up to half price!) than their spa at the beach. The location is a bit far away from the main road (but there is shuttle bus and you can rent the scooter from the resort), the cleaning lady did not clean the rooms as much as we expected daily, repeating breakfast, bathroom leaks a bit if it's raining heavily so everything we put there were soaked which happened almost every night we stayed there. If you wanna life Close to bars, this is not the place. there was nothing we did not like. Mice can come in to room from bathroom. Lots of mosquito. Wine prices too expensive. main pool OK. The only thing I did not like was the bed and curtains smelt old and like dust, the pillows were very uncomfortable. Reception needs modernisation. Approach road not made up is just a track very bumpy!. Air-condition for each bungalow is definitely destroying relaxing time on the terrace - very noisy. Most staff didnt speak English, they try, but most of them cannot answer your question(lot of trainees) Lunch and diner are not worth to stay in hotel. That is if they come for your order, waited once 10min and left! Wine is expensive( half price at other restaurants nearby) and white wine is never cold, you have to wait 10min. before they can serve you. It is the most beautiful hotel, but they don't understand how to run it. And be aware: lots of mosquitos, even in your ac-room. Expensive restaurant, resulting in empty restaurant, resulting in no atmosphere. Shame, because it has so much potential. Far from shops, and other restaurants, unless you have a moped. The room smelled like mold. There was insects in the bathroom that came through the crevices between the plexiglass ceiling and bamboo wall in the bathroom. 1. we didnt have aircon working ine full night and it was very unpleasant. 2. The level of hygiene and maintainence is very poor. staff were using the same cloth to clean the floor, toilet and our table tops in the bedroom!.
