We had an amazing three nights here in sabye hotel, we got a great deal on letsbookhotel.com and we very happy with the service , the money we paid was still a little expensive for a backpackers budget but for three nights we decided to treat ourselves and become flash packers. The hotel is ten min walk from khaosan road and in a nice quiet area with lovely little streets and nice bars and restaurants. Some might find the beds too hard (Thai style). I loved it but my bf had trouble sleeping - so I guess, it is very individual. Not a complaint as such but the pillows were too big to sleep on. The shower leaked quite a bit. Hotel food could be cheaper. There was no housekeeping done on 2 of 4 days. Room was a bit dark. Don't think about taking the breakfast - you can get way better for the money. TV channel can be more. Breakfast stype and variety can be changed regularily, especially for guest stay for a few nights, like myself...haha.... It would be perfect if the hotel except pets. It didn't affect us but the stairs could prove difficult to scale for an elderly person as some of them were steep. However reception and most of the hotel is located on the ground floor.
