  Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck.   I was lucky, upgraded to the suite. Very comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated like a game lodge.   Really well run, super mod, beautifully managed property. Small and charming. Expensive but rooms were spectacular as was service...so get what you pay for. - clean and spacious room, breakfast in room (no eating facility within hotel), customers receive prompt attention, nice and small so quiet and cosy.

  Staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Pleasant room. Nice buffet breakfast. About a ten minute walk to the gondola to the Matterhorn ski area (can change at Furi for the Gornegrat ski area too). Only slightly uphill (easy inclines) from local shops, restaraunts & ski hire, so overall, pretty conveniently placed. Quiet loca... what people say » tion. - The rooms were spacious by Swiss standards. We were able to fit a cot for three kids in one "double" room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good and everyone including our picky eater was happy with the choices. It's on a quieter side street but still close to lifts, apreski, restaurants and shopping.
