  A lovely family run hotel with great views of Lake Maggiore and the Alps. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was easy to be understood in english if necessary. Breakfasts were superb with views of the lake from the outside terrace. Dining and the wine list were equally excellent and the set menu delivered some superb dishe... what people say » s. The restaurant is brilliant – their home-made pasta delicious! The hotel was conveniently situated next to the station.   We regularly travel to Italy by car and so need a place to overnight in Switzerland. This is the best place we've stayed - you really can't fault it. It's close to the motorway,Gottard tunnel and so easy to find, but quiet. Plenty of parking, good size clean, comfortable rooms, good food at reasonable prices, very pleasant lounge and bar areas.
