Especial details such as candies in the lobby, apples and even the fact that they changed the rugs in the elevator with the day of the week printed. Service was excellent. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all very pleasant. We felt like we had the run of the house. Excellent location which would be extremely difficult to beat. Even staying in the old town (Citta Vecchia) of Locarno is not as convenient as Hotel Rio Garni.

It was my second stay at the Splendid Royal in the last two months and it definitely is the best hotel in Lugano.Their restaurant is the best in town and the staff is very profesional.I really enjoyed my stay there. - Everything!
