  The staff were excellent and welcomed us even when we arrived close to their deadline. Excellent location, a short walk into Ascona where there are lots of restaurants beside Lake Maggiore.   They have given us a well-prepared baby travel crib for our little one in our room, which has included a bed sheet, a duvet and a pillow for our 8 months old daughter!   Close to the Casino. Have been to a few 3 star's in Italy and this is definately one of the best, stunning view of lake and mountains, obviously rooms have been renovated, comfortable bed, descent sized bathroom, nice restaurant for dinner, good Italian buffet breakfast. Don't expect english buffet. Very helpful and friendly staff. - Great attitude... what people say » of staff.   The hotel had recently been refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room was large and we had a balcony. There was plenty of parking in a secure area for guests only. The staff were helpful, when we requested an power plug adaptor and an iron they provided both straight away.   Very friendly staff. Right next to the highway on the route to Italy just after the Gothart tunnel. Very nice rooms with good clean showers. The hotel was recently rebuild and has a nice atmosphere. If we go next year to Italy we certainly will try to stay in this hotel.If you eat in the restaurant ask foor their risotto.
