  We stayed at La Furca for one night during a European road trip. It is more of a restaurant with rooms. A modern building, with functional, clean rooms. The restaurant is both inside and outside (this was summer). The food was excellent and the service first class. English is spoken, which helps.   Wonderful old hotel, completely refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were friendly, helpful and utterly delightful. Excellent buffet breakfast served in lovely surroundings. Free WiFi throughout the hotel, with a strong and reliable signal in the bedroom. I was upgraded to a superior room with balcony but even if I had not been the Edel... what people say » weiss would have been exceptional value for money. - We had the family room 1 and it was large and comfortable with two bedroom areas and a lounge/tv room. Bathroom was a good size with a large shower. The motel is quiet and peaceful with out road noise. Lockup bike room and access without stairs for luggage. Very happy and will stay there again.

  Beautiful hotel in great location with mountain views all round. It is very isolated - there is nothing there except the hotel. So it is perfect for a one-night stay or for hikers etc, but do not expect to find anything else. The staff are excellent and could not be more helpful. When we asked for a hypo-allergenic pillow it was immediately taken ... what people say » up to our room. The food in the restaurant was very nice, as was the atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Wifi good downstairs. We will go back. - The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Quiet and restful would be good descriptors of the hotel. Amazing views, good hiking, fun sledding; a good place to retreat! Train was very handy, delicious food, ample breakfast.

  Our host was wonderful. Helpful, friendly, and cooked rosti for us on when it wasn't on the menu. Room was quite large with 2 bathrooms and a balcony. Comfortable bed, everything very clean. Films seems to be mainly a ski town. - Friendly staff, marvelous brakfast, view.

  The owner and her staff and family were very kind and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was just delicious. The owner gave us a topo graphical map and sent us on a beautiful hike past old wooden Swiss chalets and barns.   I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is family run and they made me feel very welcome. The building has lots of historic charm (its almost 120 years old) but is very clean and well maintained. My single room was spacious and very comfortable. The balcony was an added bonus. The included breakfast had a nice variety. Train station was a walkable distance but the hotel was also willing to p - Very clean throughout and helpful front desk. Attached restaurant had good food and views. Pass supplied free which covered all railways, lifts and cable cars in the area. Good breakfast buffet. Overall this hotel would be good value anywhere in Europe, but especially so given it's in Switzerland.
