The hotel staff was exceedingly friendly and provided a terrific breakfast each morning. The hotel is just a couple minutes walk from the cable car at Reuti to go either up the mountain or down to Meiringen. -

We were three friends and needed a place near to the town. This is a
very basic accommodation in a house for overnight stay and
departure. Nothing fancy. Common bath room, but clean. Not a big
spread of breakfast, but not bad either. One old lady manages the

Bernahof was not busy during my stay and so I had matratzenlager room with shower and WC to myself. As always, space would be crowded when full. Mattress was comfortable. Staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good.

Lovely place to visit. Our host Maiya was extremely friendly. Made us really feel at home. She spoke very good English and was happy to help in in any possible way she could to make the stay more enjoyable. The room was charming, comfortable and perfectly clean. Breakfast was very good. It is a quite unforeseen environment, the B&B is held by a Korean
lady and you can really get the feeling of it. Frankly it was the
last thing I expected going to a Swiss icon as Interlaken but it in a
way it really reflects the high level of integration that there is in
