  Good location, close to the Baden Centre (just a short walk along the river), very clean and good thermal baths - Very big room with well-equipped kitchen, let me feel at home. Also, the reception staffs were very nice.

  This was my second stay to race my fourth ITU/Powerman World Duathlon Championship. Last time the airlines lost my luggage for 5 days. This time my back pack was stolen outside Barcelona station en route to Zofingen. I lost everything too precious to risk in airline stowed baggage, including my laptop, bike and run computers and race nutritio... what people say » n, so was stressed. The hotel staff were wonderful, helping me recover from my problems. The fabulous breakfasts were a great start to each day. The - My wife and I wanted to visit the Basel Watch & Jewelry Fair. All hotels in Basel were booked solid so we scouted for somewhere in the region. In the event Hotel Engel was the perfect choice: only forty minutes from the fair; clean; quiet; big rooms; excellent breakfast; and, as a bonus, in the heart of a lovely little preserved medieaval town.

  The breakfast is very good with a nice view. The spa is fantastic and it is great to be able to swim outdoors in cold weather after a stressful day driving.It is very quiet so I always have a good nights sleep. - Very helpful staff. The time table of termal pool working is very flexible: from 6.30 untill 22.00
