Stuff is very helpfull,reception stuff change us the room to one on lake side. The renewed rooms were very nice and well designed.Location and view from lake side is beatiful on clear days.Breakfast was very good.Dinner at hotel's restoraunt was delicious.Best location for traveling to Lucern area and Pilatus mountain.. Staffs are friendly and always provide information when needed. The scenery view from room is so AMAZING!! Highly recommended!! Room facility and condition is ok!! Cleanliness is satisfy too. Breakfast is ok! Free wifi on lobby, with comfortable sofa. Will surely stay again for next visit!.
all reviews It was a superb location with spectacular view. The nature that surrounded it was wonderful, calm. Gave you the opportunity to use the path to go down to Kriens thus making a pleasant walk. The setting near the top of a mountain near Lucerne was fantastic. Location, great views over the lake. Room cost very reasonable (restaurant less so but you can always go to the town). Very nice personnel, the view is beautiful. And after the recent reconstruction very modern rooms. Fabulous location. Stunning views. Free parking. View is good. Wiew. Views were amazing from the balcony of our room which was at the front of the hotel. The terrace was lovely and great to sit out and have breakfast on. The room had everything that you need. Pilatus side rooms are old and few facilities were broken or lack.Really complicated to get the hotel without GPS. Location is far!! Took me 1 hour walking time to reach the hotel from nearest railway station, no road light while on the way and S road with uphill slope (Good scenery though). Recommend budget another 15-20 Euro and get a taxi to the hotel from Main Luzern Railway Station, especially during night. For budget traveler, you can take bus to the nearest bus stop (Linde-Pilatus) and take a 35-40 min uphill walk to reach the hotel. The bathroom was very small. It may be hard to find without a GPS however we had no problem. 没有不满意的，呵呵~~ 对了，如果可以在房间也能用wifi那就能打120分了！就更perfect了！. No hot water in the morning, new bathroom not finished (shower head loose, door would not close, hole in ceiling showing bare wires). Nothing. Toilet facility. We were there three nights and the rooms were never cleaned or the towels changed. Staff were around at breakfast but didn't actually acknowledge you, coffee in pot was luke warm. Bathroom was compact and bigou. The road.... Too soft bed. The rooms are clean but the corridors need a little more attention. beware thay have bad bugs!!!( a lot). Broken bed, very old building, someone smoked in a hallway, noisily at night, no heating - too cold in the room, awful hotel !!!. I booked half pension accommodation and I had to pay in advance at arrival. Later they refused to serve me the dinner and they said that they would not return me the money for the pre-paid dinner since they were not responsible for my reservation because it was made via Booking. I complained with Booking who told me to send them my bank account, they would at least return me the money for the dinner. I wonder if they will return my money?.
