very good breakfast and room facilities, wlan etc.. Near to the Central Station and University of Uppsala. Possibility to make a coffee or tee in the room. Good bath room cosmetic set.Almost everything.Staff were very helpful at all times. Location and value for money.Perfect location in the centre of Uppsala, easy access to railway station and with basement parking if travelling by car. We paid a bit extra for superior rooms which were tastefully furnished and the beds were very comfortable! Have stayed here two years running and would look to book again when next staying in the Uppsala area.

Staff tried to be useful.The location was convenient and we could walk to the center of the city in about 5 minutes. Mechanical services a tad noisy. This would depend on your room location. Breakfast/Frucost can get a bit busy and like most Swedish Hotels the bacon is sadly lacking in quality - unless you happen to like the fatty, streaky variety.... Toilet didn't work in first room I was given.Converational noise at the back of the hotel at night. Being American I never did like the idea of having to use a room key to operate an elevator from the garage to the lobby. Especially difficult when you are attempting to check in with luggage from the garage. only one staff in reciption. Beds were v small. Temp control was difficult in the room.The rooms could be more clean. The guestrooms to the streets are really loud and the economy rooms look like youth hostel. Rooms to the backyard are OK. Very basic amenities. We got a reduced price via booking.com ,so it was fair enougth value formoney, its ordinary price is too much regarding facilities.The corridor leading up to my room, and the room itself, were not particularly clean. There was something that looked liked dried blood on the corridor floor. And the bed was very small. There weren't no pots and pans in the rooom.No heat in the room; late arrival, nothing to eat; bed too small; low quality breakfast. No black curtains at the windows which can be a problem for non-Nordic travellers in Spring and Summer, Internet connection did not work in the room, juice machine was delivering water.the absence of "real" double beds (only two joined single beds). The room had bad comfort. Terrible breakfast!!! The staff did not seem to care about the guests and were always unfriendly.
