Cheap according to Stockholm standarts. This hotel has spacious rooms, bathroom inside the room, and even windows ! (If you check other hotels within this price range, you will understand what I mean) And also free wi-fi, coffe and tea. Very close to the city center. 10 mins walking distance to Gamla Stan. Clean and the room tempreture is great ( I stayed here in December). Excellent position (5 minutes walk from Central Station, 3 from Drottningatan, which is the major pedestrian street of the city, and 10 minutes from Gamla Stan). Room is little but clean and cosy. Even if at street level the noise is acceptable. Free fast wi-fi. Nice guest.
all reviews » Hotel MAnager George is very helpfull. He brought hair dryer and cooler as soon we asked for it. Location is perfect for city walk and shopping. Main pedestrian street is just behind a park. vey good combination of budjet trip and location. Well done!!. The Monday to Friday front desk person was very helpful and accommodating. When leaving early for different attractions and events he had breakfast ready earlier than the regular hours of operation. Excellent customer service by George and Hamid, the people who were at the reception desk. They went out of their way to comply with your requests. The room was very quiet. The staff were very helpful and the location is really very convenient. The bed was very comfortable bed and there was a nice outlook to the courtyard. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything was just perfect! And altpugh hotel is close to the center, room was quiet. Helpfulness of staff. No minibar. very soft pillows, noisy streets (depends on a room). Breakfast was european delivered to the room, (bread rolls, cheese, ham, jam and coffee). It is quite limited does not permit a group travelling together to meet and eat together. The rooms are so small that you eat alone in your room. Also, since the first floor is the ONLY floor for hotel guests, the full time residents on the second floor are noisy and it is difficult to sleep. A computer available for guests and staff available after 6pm (the staff was only available from 7am to 6pm). The room was small with little space for luggage, we expected this for he price range. Room quite small. Oldish beds. None. Small bathroom but not so bad... no complaints. The bed was too soft and it was too hot in the room and I couldn´t reduce the heat. Room is served only in the room (which might be good). The down side is that the day before you have to decide what time you want it. So, if you go to bed late but breakfast is already fixed early, you get woken up. My room was a bit noisy. some sound in the bathroom - broken ventilation or heater - wouldn't let me sleep. No reception after 20.00. Necessity to phone hotel in advance as we were arriving after check in closed at 18.00hrs. Given entrance code and room number, as there are no staff outside reception hours.. The price was too high compared to other hotels with higher standards, there should be a launch or a room to have breakfast, I received breakfast to my room and this felt uncomfortable. The coffee machine is broken and should be repaired. Very dark in entrance stairs. The tv was only 14 inches, and ca. 20 years old. Only 4 Swedish channels, no internationals. Noisy outside the room (street level) Someone was knocking on the windows at 03.00 at night. The hotel is not staffed between before 7am and after 6pm. There is no breakfast room so it is served to your room between 8-9am. If you can work with the limit, then this is the place for you. lack of breakfast or concierge. Actually Bema can't be said to be an hotel. At the first floor of a building, street level, there is a long hallway with rooms, no reception (only a desk open in the morning), no common rooms, breakfast in the room with stale bread from the supermarket. The window curtain was broken and street lamps light during the night was in our eyes. One day the room was not cleaned "waitress doesn't work on holiday!" they said.
