We can't imagine a better place to experience the atmosphere of this old spanish town. - Great inside and out, book-lined walls everywhere, comfortable couches, high, beamed ceilings, the whole place is full of character and peaceful, day & night. In Room 5, from one window we could see mountains in the far distance and from another window, lovely garden views and ancient buildings. A very comfortable, spacious and private sitting room adjoined our bedroom. Great location, right in the heart of the old town, a few minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor.

  The 15th century house has been lavishly transformed into an extremely comfortable and stylish hotel with only five bedrooms. It is in the centre of the historic centre of the town and a very easy walk to restaurants etc. we got a bit lost on the way there but we telephone and the manager came down on his motor cycle and led us to the door. Absolutely - This was wonderful, a real gem, beautifully furnished and luxurious with every comfort. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, anticipating problems negotiating the narrow streets of Trujillo and recommending 'phoning so they can meet guests and help them find the hotel. Beautiful.

  This is a great hotel with good parking and fast wifi. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, plus It's only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Trujillo. - Everything. Close enough to city centre (10m walking). We were by car which was perfect. Comfortable, walls a bit thin but not a real problem.

The national park monfrague is very beautiful and worth for 2 days to visit (you can walk and drive through the park). There is a good restaurant at the start of the walks in villareal de san carlos.
