We stayed in MarBlau for a weekend and it was wonderful. First - location, close to the bus station and only 7 min to the beach. Second - friendly staff and cozy atmosphere in hotel. we had superior double room with balcony faced to the street, but it was not noisy at all. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with recommendations for places to eat, which turned out to be very good. Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided with fresh towels etc. The hotel is ideally situated if you come to Tossa de Mar by bus. It is right in between the bus station and the old town. We had a fridge and the bathroom was quite big, and the balcony was great. We would definitely stay there again if we went back to Tossa de Mar :)

through Spain for 10 days and This hotel was my favorite! Just around
the corner for shopping and the beach and a lovely playroom in the cafe
area of the hotel that my kids loved so we could relax in the evening or
at breakfast. I will definitely stay there again. -

Highly recommended!! The hotel was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Perfectly located in the centre of Tossa, just one street back from the beach, it was surprisingly quiet at night. Despite appearing shy, almost unfriendly at first, Joan the owner turned out to be a really nice man with a sense of humour and always willing to help and make us feel welcome. His English is also excellent!

They nicely upgraded my room from the tiny budget single-bed cupboard and shower I was planning on having to a very decently plush double-bed room with balcony and full bath! The hotel was not full in October, so they could do that.
The room I had tended to the luxury end of the spectrum (safe, svelte lighting, large modern painting above the bed, swanky bathroom).without quite getting there (tiny 10in deep cupboard). Other times in the same hotel I've had the "budget" version room!

The building itself is charming and in excellent shape. The second story Juliette balcony was very a nice feature and the view across to the church and down onto the piazza was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. -
