We stayed in the hostal. Location is very good, room was very clean, modern and comfortable; the air-con worked perfectly. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful; most spoke English or were patient with our poor Spanish. Recommend the hostal to anyone who appreciates comfort and value, probably not the Mercedes-Benz/designer clothes crowd. We loved the location of the hotel. Being located inside the walled city made it very convenient for us to tour Toledo. The hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.all reviews »

Not really, as I knew what to expect - it is a basic - budget hotel and the garage was most important for us to have.Poor lighting in bathroom. the two female reception staff were rather cold and unfriendly. We asked to stay another night but they said there wasn't a room available in the hostel or hotel. However we went online and found they has several available. We went to a nice hotel over the road instead. At 44 euros we felt it was perhaps a little expensive out of season.The room telephone didn´t work and I had to go from the hostal to the hotel (crossing the street) to make calls. They charged one day extra and although the money was refunded, I wasn´t warned in advanced and I had to contact them to know the reason. unable to provide breakfast on two days.

The hotel's Junior Suite is a newly built room decorated mainly in wood, providing a warm and cosy atmosphere. This room also offers all the facilities and comforts to help you have a pleasant stay. There is also a private terrace.
The 14 Hotel Standard rooms were renovated in mid-2006. Each is fully equipped, offering stylish decoration amid a modern, comfortable atmosphere. Some offer a balcony.
The 11 Hostel Standard rooms, whilst modern, are decorated in a more casual style than Hotel rooms, but with all of the relevant facilities. Bathrooms are also en suite, but include a shower rather than a bath.

From Madrid (A42 / AP41):
- Take 1st exit towards the City Centre.
- Proceed along a long avenue.
- When the city walls become visible, you should start to see the 1st signs for the Hotel Sol.
From Andalucia (A4) / Valencia (A3) / Cuenca (N400):
- Follow signs to City Centre.
- After crossing the new Alcantara bridge, there is a roundabout.
- Keep on straight and you will begin to see signs to the Hotel.
From Ávila (N403) / Extremadura / Portugal (A5):
- Follow signs to the City Centre.
- When you come to the city walls, then turn left and follow the ramparts along the outside.
- After approximately 200 metres you will see the 1st sign directing you to the Hotel.

Connections Toledo- Madrid ( Atocha Station ) : AVE train, takes 25 minutes.
Toledo railway station is located to only 1 km of the historical centre. It has a frequent bus service to the centre (nº 5 and 6, stops in “Puerta de Bisagra”).
