great kitcsh Hotel very back to the 50s. Refurbed rooms are minimalist but nice. Very Clean. The lower floors and the reception/ bar and restaurant areas are totally 50s style which is fabulous in my view but not to everyone's taste. I loved this hotel and would definitely go back. Very friendly and helpful staff. The proximity to Barcelona is great. Beautiful setting in Sitges. Very clean.
all reviews » Very close to the beach. Food was pretty good. Large rooms with balconies overlooking the sea. I liked to be across from the beach and walking distance from train station and the city. great location, spacious rooms and bathrooms and clean. Lovely pool and garden area. Staff, placement, views, silence. The view from our room. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the location was great: slightly out of town, right on the beach and in a quieter part of town. We really enjoyed walking to and from town on the promenade (around 20-25 mins) and going to the beach next to the hotel. There is also a really nice garden with pool but we didn't use that. There is a fantastic restaurant on the ground floor which serves excellent food. Great location - beach outside the hotel was brilliant and the views from the ocean facing rooms are stunning.The hotel is located 15 minute walk away from the main centre, which was perfect for us to be a little away. As it was the off season still the property was very laid back casual. It was more peaceful than being close to the old town. Stayed in the room with sea view which was amazing, size of the room was big enough for very comfortable vacation. Nice bedroom, large and clean. Great shower. The view from the balcony, wich was moubtain/beach was stunning. Nice hotel. Staff pleasant. Quiet in the evenings after 19.00 when workmen finished. Excellent sea views,friendly and helpful staff.spacious rooms. The only really good thing about this hotel is its location right next to the sea. Only the rooms on the 5th and 6th floor are renovated. Good place if you just want a bed for a night and a nice view. The room was ok on the inside. Sea Views were nice. Location and balcony over the sea. Nothing. Some areas of the hotel were quite shabby with not much eye for detail by the staff. scruffy broken umberellas by the pool. areas that needed to be weeded etc in the gardens. Reception staff were very abrupt...with no hotel manager to be see. for our whole stay!!. You could hear the couple next door. Some of the staff were a little unfriendly. Parking difficult. No hot water during the morning. Very molested! Suppose was a negative compensation for the low price of the room in march. Nothing. The decor was a bit dated, and it had clearly been refurbished on a tight budget. The rooms were certainly not up to the 4 star standard, and it was all just a bit 'empty' and lacking. Way too basic. The rooms didn't have a fridge or minibar, nor any of the vending machines for cold drinks worked. Together with no room service, there is no way to access to a cold drink. Couple of cockroaches in my room and constant sewerage smell from bathroom didn't impress me. Food in restaurant was disappointing. With many of the units closed for the off season it was disappointing that the few guest were located right next to each other on an otherwise empty floor. With a little more thoughtfulness the stay could have been much more peacefully quiet. Reception didn't speak english or don't want, was very hard to negotiate about parking. Room wasn't fresh with ridiculous smell of cigaretts, we had to spend some time with open balcony. Staff was not friendly. Hotel seemed abandoned at some points. No room service, not aceptable for a 4 star. No minibar in the bedroom. Not possible to get a taxi on saturday night, had to walk 30 minutes to the center. Re-furbishing of rooms causing banging, drilling etc on floor above until 19.00. I had my room changed once and furthered offered on last pm. The management should not be booking when work is being carried out. Very disappointed. I should have been offered a refund. No evening meals either. No tea or coffee making facilities in room .breakfast price of 11 euros quite expensive. It is not a 4 star more a 2 star perhaps. The food was very very basic and expensive and a bit tasteless. The breakfast staff rude, unprofessional bordering on the aggressive. Two people stuck out called Carmen and Pepi who actually shouted at us and then simply ignored us and did not speak one word of English! They were simply rude, aggressive and beyond any professional standard. Be warned!. The pool was closed and the staff were not very friendly. Also there was loud building going on very early in the morning .When I advised I was leaving early I was told I would get no refund. Staff at restaurant was rude and unattentive. Remote control did not work and was not replaces after 2 calls. Phones did not work. Poor maintenance on the deck (rust). Staff inefficient. There was a fire in the hotel during my stay and the alarm didn't ring in the 6th floor. It was a mess and nobody told us what to do and where to go. Poor security, old dated and not a 4* hotel. So many.
