... what people say » he staff was splendidly helpful, friendly, and gave us all the time we needed. The town is old and rural, but beautifully preserved. This is no Mickey Mouse wonderland. It is real, from the church bells to the animals. The house is beautiful and the restoration process is slow, meticulous and almost complete.

Staff very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Nice to be able to sit out in the grounds. They had a portable Air Con Unit in our room which was welcoming. Allowed us to use their Air Pressure to pump our tyres up. Parking for the motorbike was easy. Very near to the Old Town which is delightful. This was our favourite hotel out of ten we had stayed in during our trip.

A real gem, people were very friendly& welcoming and the accommodation was above expectations. The rooms looked to be freshly well decorated and the walk-in shower was superb. The location is very close to an excellent choice of restaurants all offering good food at very reasonable prices.
All of my friends had nothing but praise for the hotel, always a concern when you do a group booking.

The hotel was a beautiful 18th Century building complete with suits of armour on the staircase, We had a large bedroom full of period furniture and the bed was pehaps the most comfortable I had ever experienced. The bathroom was almost as big. It was a real joy to stay there.

Wonderful location in the pedestrian area of the old town. Fantastic big cool (in 40 deg. celcius plus!) and welcoming lobby. Loved the up and down levels that so demonstrated the age of the building. Our room had a lovely outlook onto the street but was quiet during the night.
