Room is fair size with closet, minifridge, desk, luggage rack. Bathroom a bit cramped. On a quiet street very near the city bus stop at Praza Galicia (bus #5 goes to the central bus terminal). Easy walk to lots of eating places and cathedral. Hotel has a lift. Gentleman at the front desk speaks fluent English but the other 2 ladies only limited English. The Hostel was easy to find and in a great location close to all the restuarants and bars, and a short walk to the Cathedral.The room, though small, was very clean and new and had everything needed. Strong wifi....a/c, comfortable bed and great shower. I would definitely stay there again.
all reviews » Good value for money. Perfect location - 5 minutes to the cathedral / tourist info... and 5 minutes into the more modern shopping area. Close to the bus station (airport-bus). Helpful, friendly, flexible staff. Quiet room, central location, good bed. Easy to find even without a map - from the bus station just follow the road that goes to the center,take the 2nd street right and there you are. The location in the "casco viejo" or old quarter of Santiago is perfect. It is affordable and clean. There is a computer for internet access, into which you feed coins. Very good central location. Public car park close by (underground). Reception on 3rd floor but there is a lift. Our room was on the small side but ok for one night. Exceptionally well situated just inside the old city. Getting in and out of the shower is a chore. I'm a petite woman and agile, but this would be a problem for a larger person, or an older person, as you have to climb a high ledge to get in the bathtub, and once there, you can barely move. For this reason, I would be reluctant to recommend this place to all travelers. small room. The heater didn't work very well. The bathroom is quite small and it's hard to move around in there.
