  The hotel was in an excellent location on the Plaza Mayor. Very close to the monuments, shopping and restaurants. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the bus station - very manageable. I had a room that faced the street with a nice balcony - a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday night but that is to be expected. The staff was extremely nice ... what people say » and made sure I was comfortable with my room. As I was traveling alone I felt very comfortable and safe. The decor was traditional and nice. Would - This hotel is a gem (as long as you don't mind carrying your luggage upstairs). Beautifully decorated and furnished room, walls throughout the hotel covered with original paintings and tapestries, countless articles of historical interest displayed. It's more like a museum than a hotel. One minute's walk from the historic centre and 5 minutes walk from the car park.
