We rented a car to see some other parts of the island aswell, it is not far to drive from teror to other sights in gran canaria. Friendly staff with good advices on where to go and what to see. This is an excellent hotel! Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The spa is just fabulous, with its in-the-cave Jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, water beds and other pleasures. Rooms are very nice and clean (we especially liked a piece of gourmet chocolate every evening as the maid came to prepare the room for the night for us), excellent air-conditioning for the heatwave that we experienced that week. All the staff at Villa Canaima were SO friendly and helpful, taking time to make sure we knew all the great things Lanzarote had to offer, even booking our rental car and cabs for us.
