Great location to nightlife and beach with a decent pool and poolside bar. Large private balconies with pretty views. It is basic accommodation but a similar standard to other places in the area claiming to be 3 stars at double the price. Great value for money. Well equipped appartement - not the latest trend but perfectly fulfilling the purpose. Very friendly staff. Low budget lunches and dinners available in the restaurant. Nice pool though can become crowded.
all reviews » We had a great room/flat with a huge balcony. The location is perfect for the beach and all the local shops and restaurants. Breakfast ok. Will recommend and stay here again when in Gran Canaria. Efficiency & friendliness of all staff, from management down to cleaners. Always sun loungers available! Very convenient to lots of bars & restaurants and Airport Bus!. clean big rooms, quiet yet close to Yumbo and the beach, we did not have issues sleeping with the window open. breakfast was good for a decent price, dinner same thing. Clean & Bright Apartments Close to Yumbo Centre Poolside Snack Bar Beside a Supermarket Buffet Breakfast and Dinner Available and Reasonably Priced. Very convenient location. Pool area well maintained. Staff very efficient and helpful. I liked the fact that the Anamar was near the the Yumbo Centre and shops and busses. All staff were polite and friendly. Though the room was basic it was comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were basic but comfortable. location,budget,staff. Great pool area!!! Convienent market just next door to hotel to buy breakfast, lunch & dinner items. Buses & taxies easily accessable. 15min walk to beach area. The lock failed and they came up with a quick solution. The location because of the Yumbo. Didn't clean the room 3 of the 7 days we were there. If you are using it as an apartment and doing any cooking at all then the kitchen stock is very sparse. Some redecorating wouldn't go amiss. When we were there it was extremely hot a few days (40 degrees and more due to scirocco) then an air conditioning would have been very helpful Would be great to have free wifi. The code buying option did not really work. The rooms are not cleaned on Sundays and Thursdays, albeit there is no mention of this at booking. Nothing to complain about. Stayed in more expensive accommodation that that did not meet the standards of the ANAMAR!. internet is very expensive, after the trip we got the phonebill, they charged about 1€/min for local calls. Use your roaming cellphone, it will be cheaper. The bath was patched up, because it needed repairs. We are an easy going group so no complaints from us!! But we did get a call to our room one evening quite early to keep the noise down and all we were doing was having fun on our holiday!!. Room's kitchen area needed a bit of attention. Otherwise an excellent place. Would have been nice if there was "air conditioning in apartment".. Also, although there were signs saying "no towels to be left to hold seats", there were towels left. The pool area was small with little space to sunbathe. Cleaning of the apartments was every second day however the floors were not washed often & therefore shoes had to be worn to avoid dirty feet!. sleeping beds. Not a 5min walk to beach as advertised. No AC - loud at night. The buffet was not appealing...disnt try it but the sights & smells did not tempt me. The maid was early every day. Around 9 AM. too quiet! no music at the pool! electrical sockets hanging out of the wall very dangerous. no air con, no 24hr reception, no security at night time. main door always open. no lights turned on in reception seating area and the pool is not easy to find. Rooms were very small and quite depressing.
