This is my fourth time going back to the sandy beach hotel. I think it is a great hotel and will deffinetly be back. The games and entertainment for kids is great. 1. Most friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. 2. Excellent choice of good quality food at buffet dinners and breakfasts. Very efficiently run hotel , a perfect mix of German Management skills with Spanish hositable staff .

The buffet was really really excellent!!. Very good food. Friendly staff, clean throughout. Excellent buffet, both breakfast and dinner, very large variety. It was ok. Food was good. We were with our children, in their room they had air conditioning in ours there wasn't. Would have liked air conditioning in both rooms. This is just a petty dislike but we didn't like the way some people were able to reserve tables for dinner, I think it should be first come first served. One very minor but annoying problem was that the cards to be used to enter our room or the beach side entrance to the hotel and the corresponding lift worked very badly, if at all, causing great irritation when unable to open our door or the beach side entrance door. The air condition did only circlulate hot air. The fridge was hardly below 10 deg-C. Crouded outside dining. not best location (middle of the touristic fuzz) not refurnished for quite a while not best quality in sport/activity offer no high standard in evening animation (no big deal for us as we were no after that). Not a four star hotel by northern european standards. Slightly dated look. Pigeons (birds) on the breakfast buffets. Slightly noisy. It was crowded. Restaurant area was full during breakfast/dinner times, but they always found table for us. We never got sunbed near pool, because they were not enough and all were "reserved" at 9am (saw it happen from balcony). When we went downstairs to use one - all of them were "reserved", but most of them were empty, so we went to beach (which is 5-7 minute walk from hotel).
