What people say
The people are extremely nice there. They take very much time to show and explain the room and are very helpful and friendly in general. The food in the nearby restaurant (same owner) was brilliant. Addionally the view and location of the hotel is excellent. The little fridge in the room was a nice feature, too.
Brilliant location within the castle walls. Lovely views from the balcony, the higher the better. Each room had a theme and was spotlessly clean. Free parking is possible close by in the square below castle wall (out of high season).all reviews »

The room was very nice though extremely small but the view over the bay was great. The old town in the citadel is lovely.

The room was quite small, but very lovely arranged. We only stayed for two nights so it didn't disturb us at all. Not all of the people there speak English and I only speak very few words Spanish, but this was no problem as they tried their best to help and it made our stay a bit more adventurous. We totally recommend!.
With no breakfast option the room needed tea and coffee facilities.
No parking at or close to hotel (but there was free parking not too far
away at the port).
It was rather difficult to find and we could not bring the car up into the citadel. It should be made clear that the keys are to be collected from the Restaurant El Penon. we did not know to look for a restaurant.
On fourth floor - no lift! But worth the climb for the views from the terrace.
