The Pension is located just across the bridge from the Cathedral so is
really convenient. It's 15/20 minutes walk to the bus station.
My room looked to have been newly decorated and was very clean. The
bathroom was modern with a huge shower. The staff provided a map of the
city and I was able to leave my bag for all of the next day which was
great. There is someone one reception 24 hours a day and you leave the
key with them so it feels safe. all reviews »
I love Murcia and Spain and I am so delighted I made my decision to come here, to marvelous Murcia. I’ve met so many amazing people and done so many things. Food was tasty as well, absolutely loved it!!! I will miss tapas a lot now... And Paella,- a saffron flavored rice dish with seafood was so tasty and yummy!!! I loved the location of the hotel - close to all city main attractions. Very clean and bright room. Air conditioning.
Murcia is a fantastic city waiting to be discovered. The Pension Segura
is typically Spanish, typically Murcian. It is located just across the
old bridge from the centre of town - a one minute walk. It is small,
friendly, totally Spanish speaking (no English - mug up on your Spanish
first!) and fantastic value. The cafe downstairs provides everything in
the way of breakfast and anything else you need. Perfect!.
The room was only small but very clean. Nice clean bedding and towels. We only wanted somewhere to sleep so it suited us perfectly. Very close to Murcia town. The staff were very nice and polite and even though we did not speak Spanish and they did not speak English we did understand some of the Spanish language. We had free WiFi in our room which is an added bonus.In a fairly central area which is what I needed. Nice clean functional room. I loved the little balcony overlooking the street. Friendly, helpful staff, they gave me a map of Murcia and also a wake-up call. Perfect for a few nights stay.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel is located close the center, just on the other side of the river with respect to the main square. There's a tabac store and several ice-cream shops just in front of the entrance.

I was on the same floor as the reception and there was a bit of noise
from people coming and going.

The directions to the Pension Segura from the bus station were not very good at all. We did get a little bit lost but eventually found our way after asking someone. A small kettle and cups in the rooms would be an added bonus so you can have a cuppa while getting ready in the morning. I had taken a travel kettle with me so I was ok.I had single occupancy in a double room, the room was small for 2 people but that's not a criticism.
