A very simple but clean hotel with very reasonable rooms. It is easy to from the airport during the day using the metro but I had problems because I arrived after midnight on a flight. At first the taxi drivers refused to take me because it is only 500 m but involves crossing a motorway: they suggested I should do this! Finally one of them drove me but charged 20 euros!. the lift from the underground carpark, the room, food and drink available in bar cafe or in your room, food tasty and freshly prepared, breakfast-pleasantly surprised to find sausage scrambled egg and bacon on the buffet as well as the usual croissants etc. Staff Andrew and Gemma pleasant and efficient, as was morning receptionist. Would definitely stay again.
all reviews » We used the hotel to stay for one night near the airport so that we had minimal travelling for our early flight and it was beyond perfect for that. It's literally on top of the metro so was mega convenient and SO cheap for such a decent and clean hotel. The shower was good and beds pretty comfy. Room clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Fine for a short stopover (ie 1 night) if leaving on an early morning flight the next day. Located opposite the Metro, 1 stop to the airport costs 3.60 each or thereabouts. A taxi wouldve cost 15 Euros for approx a 2min drive. next to metro 1 stop to airport good local bars and cafes quick access to vallencia city and historic centre. Dont miss BAR-CAFETERIA MORDISCO on calle quart very friendly good atmosphere high quality food and drink at low prices. a gem of a tapas bar superb. About 10 metres from door of hotel to entrance to Metro and approx 3 mins on metro (one stop) to airport. Really convenient for early start or late arrival. 24 hour reception desk, bar, restaurant. This is zone D and is not good with Bonocard zone A&B which you use to go into city centre. highly recommended to people who want/need proximity to the airport. right next to metro stop Rosas, one stop away from airport. (i took the cab and got cheatedby the driver:€20 for 5 min. ride). good value-for-money bars nearby. The family room was spacious and comfortable for one overnight before an early flight in the next morning, really near to the airport and there is the metro station just in front of the main door. The location is awful for holiday makers, but perfect for needing to be near the airport or metro, as there's little to do or see in that area. Arrived at around 12pm from airport but had to wait until 3pm until checking in. Couldve checked in at 12 for an extra 10 Euros. We didnt mind waiting until 3 and left our bags there, however the hotel was actually almost completely empty so not sure why we had to wait 3 hours for an empty room. Not much eating places around for late arrival. Also no blanket provided for an unusually cold summer day (may b it was out of season) and the radiator not working. - a little noise from the street and thin walls. Internet connection is free for 30mins, after you have to pay. Room smallish and could do with a couple more shelves for clothes since there is no wardrobe. Also consider the fact that to go back to the hotel you need to take the metro which only works till about 11.30pm so you'll need to take a taxi from the centre which will cost you €20. The restaurant was a little utility but for transit it was adequate. Room a little cold and no blankets.Taxi from airport 15 euros for a 5 minute journey but hotel is such good value this was annoying but did not really matter. Paying for in-room access to Wifi. Get real Travelodge, even sidewalk cafés in Manises give free access!. a bit warm the in the room, even while A/C is on max. only one staff on duty and he/she is the receptionist , bartender and waitress. Location was a little rundown but felt safe. That you if you arrive early from a flight and you are tierd you have to wait till 3pm to have the room unless you pay 10euro extra charge. Ridiculous price of the WIFI. Difficult to find by car - a large scale plan of the surrounding streets and area would be very helpful. We were under the misapprehension it was within or adjacent to the airport. The hotel shouldn't be advertised as an airport hotel, the impression it is walikng distance from the terminal, whereas it is one stop on the metro. Should have one extra chair in the room--- to watch TV, one person had to sit on the bed. cooked breakfast was poor!. Next to airport but have to take public transport there or walk across busy motorway. No public transport on a Sunday early hours in the morning. Earliest is 7am. due to the windows not opening the room was stuffy. no chance to open the windows even a bit, pretty unfriendly reception lady mentioning that the booking i had was not valid cause no credit card information was supplied - she couldn't believe letsbookhotel.com didn't ask for that and told me it is pure luck, that they kept a room for me... nice... Really bad smell in corridor and 'English breakfast' was advertised with a picture showing what would be served. It was nothing like the picture, only scrambled egg and very thin bacon. The picture should be removed. We are not travellers who expect English food but we do expect to receive what is advertised. not enough soap/shampoo in the bathroom. no refrigerator. i was unable to use the room's termostat. Add ons at a cost particularly as I am a long stay resident. Wouldn't feel to safe walking out after dark.
