  It is a beautifully kept hotel. You feel part of the family. Breakfast on the terrace was enchanting with good continental breakfast individually served. Views were stunning and the lovely garden was pretty. Nothing was too much for the lovely family owners to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were perfect and bathrooms clean and modern.   This hotel is in an excellent location, it is an easy walk to both the new and the old towns. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The room temperature was also comfortable for this time of year. The bathroom was a good size and did not fog-up, or get wet after a shower. The WiFi worked well in the room and the tv had 2 English channel... what people say » s. We did not try the breakfast. There is very limited free parking in the area, the streets are busy most of the time; the best option is to pay for - This is a very nice hotel and a good value in Malaga. I paid about $60/night for a double. The room was large and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located right next to a highway, so there was some street noise, but it was not as bad as I expected (although I sleep with ear plugs anyway). The hotel is right next to the city's old quarter, and about a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute cab ride) to the beach. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

  The hotel was just as expected and being fairly new was in good shape. The staff were excellent, far better than some 4 to 5 star hotels we have stayed in.   Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  For a two-star apartment Doña Elvira was the best we can get. As you have to be aware of those two stars, there is nothing to be disappointed about. The location may not be right in the middle of Málaga´s center, but in a three minute walk you will be at the great shopping street. Shopping: - 2 Minutes to the supermarket, wich has a big market Hal... what people say » l next to it (opening times: Mo-Sa ~8am - 3pm!!) - 2 Minutes to the theater - 5 Minutes to the Plaza de la Merced (where Picasso was born) - 15 Minute - The apartment was well-equipped and conveniently located with lots of restaurants and bars around the corner. Some reviews say that the area is dangerous which I totally disagree with - some of the surrounding streets are a but shabby but Málaga is undergoing but we didn't mind. The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to answer our questions.

  We were welcomed by a Spanish front desk clerk who spoke a bit of English. When asked, transferred us to another room because wifi signal was stronger. When asked, he also called Tapeo de Cervantes and booked us a table for 2 in Spanish. Location is perfect, it is right in front of the trainstation. Room is well presented. - Hostal Hispanidad is ... what people say » one of my favorite places in Malaga. It is next door to both the railway- and the bus station. A short walk to the old town with all its temptations. And the hostal itself with its cool marble floors is traditional, comfortable and homely. And to top it all: the prices are "affordable".
