  We loved the hotel and it's very helpful, friendly staff!! The hotel was spotlessly clean (a fetish of mine!) and sits on a hillside with an incredible view of the sea. Although we didn't use the pool, it was very inviting with an infinity edge and that same wonderful sea view.   It's a family run hotel with the friendliest staff - from reception to the wonderful cleaning staff. Best breakfast ever - fresh fruit, bacon and eggs cooked fresh, hams, cheeses etc and a super supply of pastries, bread. Nothing is too much trouble for the charming, smiling owner and his son. The area is buzzing - The pool is wonderful with its spa aspects to it. The staff are very friendly & helpful. There are free washing machines and tumble dryers to use too. It's within 3mins from the beautiful coast of Calella and the Cami-de-Ronda (both directions). Motorbikes (& cyclists) get a locked garage space right outside the hotel reception and you get a garage door key for the duration of the stay. Breakfast was delicious and big.

  Tamariu is beautiful and the hotel is well placed for the beach and the local restaurants. This is a small basic hotel but it has all the charm it needs to make for a great break from the rat race.Would definately return again.

Your uncle is informal and friendly (he gave me his biggest room even though I'd booked a small one), and his house has a wonderful garden with stunning views. The interior decoration is a few decades old - but that's what you'd expect from your shabby uncle, right?
