El Rincon was well-located near to centre city, restaurants and coffee shops, touristy stalls and a really good local fresh food market and city tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to happen across a small religious parade of an icon through the streets. We were able to walk from the train to the hostal which is located in the old town.

Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff was super friendly and we payed only E 50 a night for a really good room. The hotel is situated perfectly, nearby the Mercado and some good restaurants. Will book the same hotel whenever

We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed staying at this hostal, at first view on arrival it looks a bit edgy, but once inside and settled we realized why so many of the reviews were so positive! The rooms are small but clean and kept very tidy, lots of hot water, and comfortable beds. It's good value for the cost, simple accommodations, but suited our needs (and budget) well. Wonderful helpful, friendly staff whom we spent a lot of time just chatting with! Small, intimate hostel (max 28 ppl at one time) so it is really easy to socialize with your fellow travellers. As two 20-something girls we stayed in the private bedroom with 2 single beds and it was perfect! Looked just like the pictures and felt like a boutique hot
