When I arrived to the hotel, the air conditioning had broken, so they moved us to another better hotel. The staff was very kind and they were trying to sodify all our needs. The room was really good and the views from the room of the new hotel (Plaza) were just great. I could see all the Montjuic mountain. - price.

the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. there was no water heater for tea but this was immediately provided by the front desk staff. metro is only 5 minutes walk away. very quiet area. the air condition in the room is very efficient making for a welcome space from hot days. -

rooftop terrace and pool were great to have as a home base! - I thought the location was perfect. The rooftop terrace was a bit small but really nice especially when you first arrive and want to relax. The staff were great they couldn't do enough for you.

As has been mentioned elsewhere this is much better than a two star hotel. Though a bit away from the centre, it is easy to get to by public transport - just 5-10 mins on bus nos 16 or 17. This is a quiet business hotel (althouogh we were tourists) located in the Gracia neighborhood. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was an ok size with comfortable beds and wifi. Hotel has a inside/outside lounge that was nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing and before heading out to dinner. Optional breakfast is acceptable.

The location is great. It's close to the city centre and bus stops are within 5 minutes of walk.Metro station (Diagonal) is within 15 minutes of walk. There's also a supermarket next to the hotel so you can buy almost everything you need. Local fruits are cheap.
Overall it's a great value for the money we payed.

Friendly, courteous staff. Nice room, felt like being at home. - We stayed there in March 2008. 2 quite big rooms. The images on site are much worser then the hotel is in reality. A lot of cafes are in the nearby. 20 minutes by walk from the centre, 3 minutes from FGC station (Pl. Molina, St. Gervasi).

Excellent location (close to some attractions, metro station Diagonal practically in front of the Hotel), friendly staff, clean room. We stayed 4 days and were quit satisfied. I would recommend this Hotel to the others. Before my trip, I thought, La Rambla should be more attractive location for staying, but now I would for sure prefer Passeig de Gracia. So, it seems, I made right decision.
