  Location, location, location. for me is the most important the hotel is in the heart of everything - The room was large and quiet. It had generous windows and three layers of curtains, to block light. Location was very close to major sites and to the metro. The ventilation system was effective and quiet.

One of the reception staff even phoned her mother who was taking part in a procession for holy week to see where it was so we could go and watch. By means of public transport everything can be reached easily. Big room with huge beds and a large balcony. The waiters are exceptionally nice.

  I loved there! You are really in the center of Madrid so no need to buy any tickets for train or so. Near all the biggest madrid atracctions and Chueca if you are gay :-).   It was an excellent location, near the metro and Plaza Mayor. The staff were all very helpful and parking was facilissimo. They were extremely accommodating, providing driving directions in Madrid and other advice. - The breakfast (which was not included) was delicious and plentiful.
