  The hotel was everything we hoped for and more! We arrived early (8:30 am), Vinnie and Kristina at the front desk stored our luggage in a secure locked area, leaving us free to explore the sights until check-in. Upon check-in, we were greeted with glasses of sparkling cava. Vinnie and Kristina represent the hotel most excellently.   The Catalonia Avinyo's staff called us a day ahead, informing that Catalonia Avinyo was fully booked so we were changed to another hotel in the same network called "Catalonia Port" and I really recommend this hotel!! Very new, very clean, very comfortable!! and it's near the port and Columbus Monument.   Wonderfull location, just off the Ramblas on a quiet street. The rooms are good sized and comfortably equipped. Did't have their breakfast. Had avery good stay. would definately recommend the hotel to friends and stay there again if will visit Barcelona in the future. - location and toiletries

  Very quiet and comfy room, only 2 minutes from the Metro station "Barceloneta" and also from the south entrance to the Barrio Gotico. Great breakfast and very attentive reception staff!
