The Hostal keeper was very friendly and ready to help at any moment. The room was clean and so were the bathrooms. We were able to leave our backpacks in the hostal before checking in and after checking out. Very nice not to have to carry this around.

Great place. Alfonso was the lovliest man, & a good looker in his day as was his sister. They were lovely. Beautiful old building, very chicly decorated. Loved it. They didn't have our booking recorded but it was no problem for Alfonso. -

The atmosphere was really relaxed with a lot of added extras like the user of the internet facilities included in the price. The dining area with the facilities to make coffee and tea made you feel welcome. The staff was helpful and friendly. - Central location but difficult to find.

Super nice staff, very friendly and helpful. All rooms clean and well designed, and the facilities in bathrooms are very good. This hostel also has a lovely backyard where you can enjoy sunshine and food with your friends. Fully access to the use of refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle in the shared space. The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings.

The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. -
I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.

Great place. This is old building with very high ceiling and a lot of air, with beautiful old (18th century original or looking original) style decor on walls and ceiling. close not only to Plaza Catalunya but also to Parc de la Cuitadella. A
very interesting atmosphere of an old house, with once rather
luxurious wooden decorations, now a little bit aging, but still
alluring. The rooms are small but clean. A word of advice: go for a
"superior room" with the balcony. It's an essential
feature for a beautiful late night session after you have enjoyed full
day in the city.
