The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. I just loved this apartment, which was on the second floor of this building (or third of you're American). As an apartment building with a reception area (which is quite rare in my experience), it was super convenient. Andrea speaks English superbly, spent time with us to explain the apartment and how to best see the city and even arranged our taxi out to the airport when we left. She even waved us off! Lovely! Nice location, a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, the hotel is located on the main street of El Born, and you have a supermarket, bakery and a tobacco shop really close by.
